The Anchor Cottage lookbook

We've kept life simple in Anchor Cottage - but occasionally we fantasise about how it might look. It's beautifully scaled rooms, clean lines and exposed timbers make it a gorgeous blank canvas for interior design.

So we invited the kids to nano banana it up! It's not exactly a coherent look, but boy this house looks great in anything!

A zen prompt for our yoga cum guest room downstairs with its beautiful limestone floor.

A quick reminder of how it actually looks...

The hipster makeover of our TV room is appealing - in the way that any new look cries out.

But I still feel more at home with our mixed velvets and cord than with  the exposed brickwork of the studio vibe.

Less enthusiasm for this one - we know that sterile surfaces are the look du siècle, but give us a homely kitchen any day!

The dining room on the other hand could go in a few interesting directions... farmhouse... boarding house ..but actually full on formal is getting most votes!

More modern minimalism certainly works in our bedroom. Very worried about the positive reaction to the chintz option.

And here, the top of the house.

Space for an expansive bathroom after all - even if the AI has given us a grubby tub!
